Marucci Field
Constructed in 1999, Marucci Field is a perfect miniature baseball field
carved from the modest backyard of the Marucci's suburban home. It boasts all the
amenities and many big league regulation features:
- Bleachers lining the 1st base fence
- Stadium seating, acquired from The Oakland Coliseum, Camden Yard, and Jacobs Field
line fence along 3rd base
- Grass, 419 Bermuda which is standard for athletic fields
- Hill Topper soil with Hollywood bases
- Raised pitching mound
- Hand operated scoreboard above the "no pepper" sign in right field
- Red, white and blue bunting from Three Rivers Stadium used during the playoffs between
the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves in 1992 adorns the deep green outfield
fence
- Field dimensions marked on the outfield fence and 12 foot high poles to the right
and left of the field indicating foul territory
- Younger children can play and watch games from the right side of home plate
- The Marucci Bat Workshop overlooks the field
