Marucci Field

Constructed in 1999, Marucci Field is a perfect miniature baseball field carved from the modest backyard of the Marucci's suburban home. It boasts all the amenities and many big league regulation features:

  • Bleachers lining the 1st base fence
  • Stadium seating, acquired from The Oakland Coliseum, Camden Yard, and Jacobs Field line fence along 3rd base
  • Grass, 419 Bermuda which is standard for athletic fields
  • Hill Topper soil with Hollywood bases
  • Raised pitching mound
  • Hand operated scoreboard above the "no pepper" sign in right field
  • Red, white and blue bunting from Three Rivers Stadium used during the playoffs between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves in 1992 adorns the deep green outfield fence
  • Field dimensions marked on the outfield fence and 12 foot high poles to the right and left of the field indicating foul territory
  • Younger children can play and watch games from the right side of home plate
  • The Marucci Bat Workshop overlooks the field
